I bought two of these to hold/store two snowboards.
You can spend USD50 (and more) on an actual snowboard storage rack but there is no need to do so in my opinion.
These work perfectly for that purpose and cost much less.
I should note they don't mount perfectly flush unless you have the Garageworks rail they are meant to be mounted on - which I knew when I ordered them.
I just drilled them into a wood post in the basement, good to go.

This works great to hold garden hose, long outdoor extension cords, or other heavy materials. I also have 2 folding chairs of about 25 lbs each on two of my hooks like this.
They do a very fine job and are sturdy and neat. Also, there are no sharp edges to "hook" you if you have a garage wall you have to "squeeze by".
